Facsimile edition of the first book of scores to follow Britcher. Bentley was a leading player of the day and often appeared in matches a Lord's. He lived close by and when not engaged in cricket could often be heard practising on his flute. Many of the scores contained herein do not appear elsewhere. Includes facsimiles of the rare supplements issued in 1823 and 1826.
