ARTHUR RIGBY (BLACKBURN ROVERS) 1927 - CARDS OF CONGRATULATION ON BEING PICKED FOR ENGLAND

A group of four postcards sent to the Blackburn Rovers footballer Arthur Rigby after he had been selected by England to make his debut against Scotland on April 2nd 1927. Three were sent by friends and the fourth is from his mother and "Dennie", who were still living in Crewe.

Each stamped and dated from late April 1927. Good condition.
