DERBYSHIRE CRICKET GUIDE FOR SEASON 1897

Compiled and edited by LG Wright and WJ Piper. From 1885 until 1893 this handbook was known as the Derbyshire Cricket Annual and edited by E. Elliott & T. Thornhill. In 1896, after two blank years, it re-emerged as the Derbyshire Cricket Guide under which title it ran until 1939, although no copies were issued during 1915-18. This is the second year of issue.

Paperback. 24mo. 190pp + [6] 2 portrait plates (William Storer & George Davidson). Original pale brown printed paper wrapper, very rubbed with small pieces missing from front and back, spine taped.  [Padwick 1852]
