Oval, Aug 14 - 18, 1948. Australia won by an innings and 149 runs. The match is famous for being Bradman's last Test, Hollies bowling him second ball for 0, restricting his Test average to a mere 99.94. Morris's big hundred for Australia and the bowling of Lindwall, supported by Miller and Johnston ensured that England could not escape after their paltry first-innings score. Hutton made two-fifths of England's runs in the match (and three-fifths in the first innings).
