ENGLAND V FRANCE 1947 RUGBY PROGRAMME

Official rugby programme for the Five Nations match at Twickenham on April 19 1947. This was the first year of the tournament after an hiatus of seven years during World War II. It also marked the return of France to the competition after an absence of 16 years. Wales won the Championship with wins against Scotland, France and Ireland.
