JOE SMITH (BOLTON WANDERERS & ENGLAND) FOOTBALL POSTCARD

Football postcard. Real photograph by CE Willis. Smith made 492 appearances for Bolton from 1908-27 and captained the FA Cup winning side of 1923, the first Wembley final. He was capped 5 times for England. Smith also played for Stockport County and was a successful manager at Blackpool, a position he held for 23 years. White border. Postally unused. Very good.
