The autobiography of Sir Francis Pelham Warner (1873-1963), captain of Middlesex and England. He captained England in 10 Test matches and the MCC on three major tours, two to Australia (1903/04, 1911/12) and one to South Africa (1905/06). He wrote many books on the game besides being Editor of The Cricketer and cricket correspondent for the Morning Post from 1921 to 1932.  

Large 8vo. 240pp. Portrait frontis., 28 plates. Dust-wrapper, rubbed and chipped to edges. Good condition. This copy belonged to the Kent cricketer WS Cornwallis, with his pencil signature to fly-leaf.
