Willie Smith (1885–1982) was an English professional snooker and billiards player. He won the World Billiards Championship in 1920 and 1923 before turning to snooker for monetary reasons. Although he never really excelled at the game he still reached the World Snooker Championship final in 1933 and again in 1935 where he lost to the peerless Joe Davis.

First Edition. Large 8vo. vii + 215pp. Portrait frontis, 6 plates. Original navy blue boards, gilt title to front and spine. Cloth sl rubbed, corners bumped. Light foxing. A good/very good copy.
