The middle volume in the Middlesex cricket trilogy, following the first part, by William Justice Ford (1900), and preceeding the third, by Nigel Haig and H.R. Murrell (1949).

Large 8vo. [x] + 486pp. Portrait frontispiece. Original maroon cloth, spine sun faded with stain to back cover. Gilt Middlesex emblem to upper board and title to spine (faded). Good condition. This book was presented by Sydney Pawling, Secretary of Middlesex County Cricket Club, to H.R. ("Joe") Murrell, who played for twenty years with the club, having first played for Kent and football for Arsenal (from 1898 to 1900).
