Cricket autobiography of "Plum" Warner, stylish opening bat for Rugby, Oxford University, Middlesex, MCC and England, whom he captained in 10 Test matches. He led Middlesex from 1908 to 1920, leading them to the Championship during his last season. In 1950-51 he was President of MCC.

Large 8vo. xii + 336pp. Folding frontispiece, 11 plates. Original decorative green cloth, lightly rubbed. Gilt cricketing design to front cover. Scattered foxing throughout. A very good copy.
