Original ink autograph of Paul Foley, who played for Worcestershire CCC from 1878 (pre-first-class). Foley is significant as the man most responsible for Worcestershire becoming a first-class side in 1899 and he is still very highly thought of in those parts. He lived at Prestwood, near Stourbridge. This autograph came from a visitors book from the early 1890s at Heath House in Shropshire where many country house cricket matches were hosted (including against the MCC and Free Foresters).
