The author was a famous Scottish amateur golfer, winning the Scottish Amateur Championship in 1902 playing with the Gutty ball. He also captained the Britsh Walker Cup team against America. These are his reminiscences of 60 years in the game, with memories of Carnoustie, Monifieth and Walker Cup matches. This golf book benefits from excellent and unusual photographs.
