Original sepia-toned photograph of an early lawn tennis match, probably from the late 1880s. The photographer is A. Lincoln Bowersox, who was active in Dayton, Ohio from 1884 onwards.

Photograph is 19 x 23.5cm. Laid down to original mount. The photograph is in fine condition, the mount is a little bumped to the edges but still good. An early and rare tennis photograph.
