A tribute to the great Australian bowling-allrounder Hughie Trumble (1867-1938), a cricketer of the "Golden Age", who captained his country in two Tests, winning both. Trumble took 141 wickets in 32 Test matches - a world record at the time of his retirement - and is only one of three bowlers to take a hat-trick twice in Test cricket. The author is his son.
