Type-written letter signed in ink on Warwickshire CCC headed notepaper from the then Captain of Warwickshire to D. J. Knight (Surrey & England). Dated September 22nd 1951. Dollery refers to the wonderful season that they had (County Champions for the first time in 40 years), and also to a "magnificent 100 you made"  for an Old England XI against a Warwickshire XI at Edgbaston on April 28th 1951. Knight scored 112 out of a total of 205, coming in at no.5 - he was 57 years old. Comes with a fully printed scorecard of that game.

20.6 x 26.2cm. Horizontal and vertical fold marks. Very good.
