WALLY HOLMES (NUNEATON, WARWICKSHIRE & ENGLAND)

Original rugby Press photograph of Wally Holmes. The front row forward represented his country in 16 matches and also played eight times for the Barbarians during a playing career that lasted almost 25 years. In addition to Club rugby he also turned out 32 times for Warwickshire and won several Midlands' honours.

During the 2nd World War Wally was a Bevan Boy.
