WHO STOLE THE CUP

An illustrated record of the theft from William Shillock's Birmingham sports shop of the original English Cup (FA Cup) won by Aston Villa in 1895, featuring a team photograph of the victorious Villa side. The trophy was never seen again and in the 1950s a career criminal claimed to have stolen it and melted it down to make counterfeit coins. This booklet was published by William Shillock.
